Ask Amy, Incorporated is a Charlotte based full service residential and commercial design firm founded in 1999 by Amy Alexander. Amy Alexander is a Charlotte native who graduated with her interior design degree from Winthrop University and is an Allied member of The American Society of Interior Designers. Amy spent most of her career working for large architectural firms including Gensler & Associates in Atlanta and Chicago after which she returned home and began her own interior design business.

Amy Alexander strongly believes that knowing and understanding each individual client is the most important way to create living spaces that they will truly be satisfied with. Spaces should reflect a client’s lifestyle and personality and function in ways to support them. Your home or business is the biggest reflection of you and Ask Amy can transform your living spaces into timeless environments that provide a sense of balance and style. Our services include generation of scopes & budgets, client programming, schematic & design development, space planning, construction documentation and material specification, construction administration, procurement, review of material specifications & finish samples, and quality control of vendors and installations.

Ask Amy also provides home staging services for realtors and model home decorating and merchandising services for local and regional home builders. We provide full custom furniture & furnishings, draperies, lighting, and accessories, or we can supplement new furnishings and accessories to accent your existing space. We also provide innovative ways to utilize clients existing furnishings to create fresh new looks.
